My photographic practice examines how public space carries memory, conflict, and change. Moving from the collective urgency of Sacramento protests following the shooting of Stephon Clark, to the shifting shoreline and ecological thresholds of Folsom Lake, and finally to the layered signs, murals, and overlooked encounters of Sacramento streets, these images trace the ways bodies, landscapes, and built environments become witnesses. Across documentary and observational modes, I use photography to hold evidence and atmosphere together, asking how place records violence, resilience, absence, and the possibility of transformation.
